Once again, fun was to be had by all at the Annual COSSAR July Picnic at Fort Lupton on July 24, 2010.  Special guests included the general public and the Daughters and Children of the American Revolution.  The Verbuggen cannon was fired at the noon posting of the colors, and during the picnic Patrick Henry made his "Give me liberty or give me death!" speech.  The tomahawk throwing range proved quite popular amongst the young patriots, as did the afternoon tea served at the Donelson House.  A slideshow of the proceedings is presented below.
Be sure to attend the Annual COSSAR Picnics, usually held in the last Saturday of July every year!
