Projects taken on by the Colorado Society over the past one hundred years have included protection of the American Flag and concern for the teaching of American History in our schools.  We have been active supporters of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps in our high schools and ROTC in Colorado colleges and universities. We make awards each year to outstanding high school and college cadets as selected by their schools.

Our Chapters also make awards to Eagle Scouts and their names are submitted to the COSSAR Eagle Scout Committee for a COSSAR Eagle Scout Award. The COSSAR Eagle Scout Awardee competes for the NSSAR Eagle Scout Award and a recent COSSAR winner placed second in the National competition and received a $4,000 college scholarship.

COSSAR annually makes Law Enforcement Medal and Fire Safety Commendation Medal awards to local Police and Firemen.

A detailed list of planned events may be found on our
Coming Events webpage.
