July 3rd, 2010 with the 2nd Connecticut Militia and the 42nd Highland (Black Watch) Regiment at ROCK LEDGE RANCH in Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. General George Washington participated in the festivities. The brass band played John Philips Sousa favorites, and the occasion was highlighted by readings of the Declaration of Independence and Gettysburg Address (latter read by General Palmer).
